Energy can neither be created or destroyed, only transformed. All the existing energy in the universe is either bound in an existing form or flowing into a new creation based on how all the individual points of consciousness of Creation have chosen to manifest Creation. For us to create something new or manifest any intention some of the existing Creation must be sacrificed or given up to release the energy to form the new creation. Exactly what must be given up cannot be known by our mind. We cannot second guess Creation and give something up thinking that is what Creation will require for our new creation.

All Creation is interconnected. Our conscious mind will not know how our intention affects other parts of Creation and how we will have change internally or externally to address those aspects. We will have to do all that is require for our new creation to manifest. Additionally, the deeper our creation, or the more profound our creation will impact the existing world, the deeper we will have to go within ourselves to manifest that creation. Whether what needs to be given up will feel like a sacrifice only depends on how strongly we are attached and we hold onto what must be let go. In any case, all intentions, and all creation will require a sacrifice of the existing created world.

A traditional view of the sacrifice

There is an ancient practice that at one time seemed to be a somewhat of a rule that permeates many of the esoteric and spiritual traditions. It can best be stated that if we want to create something or get something such as a gift from the gods or God, have a miracle or good fortune shower upon us, we need to give something up, that is, we must give a sacrifice. One had to appease the gods. The sacrifice was for the gods or God.

In many religions traditions when we wanted God or one of the gods to create something for us in life a sacrifice was always required. In these traditions there never seemed to be a good reason or explanation by individuals or in the written material or oral traditions furnished by these traditions, as to why a sacrifice was necessary other than God, or the gods, wanted to be appeased in some way. Of course, there was always the question, "If God was really God and has everything already and could create anything It wants, why does It need my sacrifice?" It seems somewhat paradoxical that an all powerful God needed a sacrifice by Its Creation other than to satisfy Its ego, which of course, could be the case. It has been said within many of the traditions the sacrifice was for us and not the God or the gods. Rather it was to teach us something like discipline, letting go of the material world or whatever. But then one still was not give an adequate reason as to why. What did the sacrifice exactly do for us that we could not do for ourselves or that God could not do?

The paradox exist only when we look at a segment of the creation process rather than the whole process. It needs to be remembered that energy can neither be created or destroyed, only transformed. All the existing energy in the universe is either bound in an existing form or flowing into a new creation based on how all the individual points of consciousness of Creation have chosen to manifest Creation. From a creativity perspective when ever we create something new, we will always need to give something up somewhere to be transformed into the something new to bring a new creation into existence. Whenever we want something we become involved with a the transmutation or transformation of energy into matter and we have to get the starting material from somewhere.

In the tradition sacrifice, some of the ancient traditions, as do many of the myths about creativity and some of the schools of thought on creativity, do say the sacrifice is symbolically required so that we can empty our vessel and become open to the creation or to make room for God or the gods to work in our life. However it is clear from the pair production where energy is actually converted into mass and discussed in the topic, "Implication of pair production in our creative endeavors," a particular sacrifice, not just any sacrifice, will be needed to manifest a new creation. This particular sacrifice includes the possibility of the location of where the sacrifice is done, that is, the transformation process may have to occur at a particular location under a specific influence.

We cannot sacrifice just anything any time and any place and expect to manifest what we desire. The fact that sometimes a particular location is needed to go along with a sacrifice for a particular type of manifestation is what gives rise to the concept that there are sacred sites. However the need for special location is a function of what we are trying to manifest as opposed anything special about the site or the creation process itself. Often it is not so much a particular site as much as it is a particular type of influence.

The aspect of sacrifice that is not clear from these esoteric traditions is what exactly needs to be emptied or what is/are the exact things that needs to be sacrificed, and exactly what is it to which we need to be open to manifest a new creation?

Understanding the need for sacrifice

In understanding the physical plane is a plane based on the transformation of energy, it can be said that fundamental to the physical plane and to the nature of energy that created and sustains the physical plane is that we have to give something up to get something new. For us to create something new or manifest any intention some of the existing Creation must be sacrificed or given up to release the energy to form the new creation. All is energy and all the energy of reality is already committed and accounted for. To create something new, something must be given up, sacrificed or made available to create the new. So the first step in any creation is that something must be given up to form something new.

A sacrifice in some way of some type will always be required to obtain a new creation and what we desire. We cannot escape the sacrifice. The only question is "What specifically needs to be given up to accomplish the creativity we wish to manifest?" What needs to be noted here is the word "specifically." Any old thing cannot be sacrificed to create a specific creation. The sacrifice is only necessary to make room to add whatever new we wish to create. Without the space that the sacrifice provides, we have no room for the new creation to grow into our life. Additionally, that "something" will be something internal and external specific to what we desire to create.

We have only so much creative life energy that goes into manifesting and sustaining our being. As a minimum, we need to give up some of our time and our energy. We will need to tithe our time to our new creation if we wish to create something new. This principle is true at any level of existence and every level in our existence. For example, there is a certain amount of creative life energy sustaining earth. For the earth to create something new, it must give something up and it does this by creating new with volcanic action and destruction of the old by the continental plates sliding under one another to be remolded in the center of the earth to become lava flowing out of the volcano. In this regard, what needs to be understood is that creation and the sustaining of a creation is predatory and something, somewhere, will need to be eaten, consumed and digested to create and maintain the creation. The only question is what is going to go out of creation and what is going to form from that going out.

So to create something we need to give something up and make the creative life energy available for the new creation. The "sacrifice" sets the stage for the creation to begin. For each of us there will be an inner and outer sacrifice that can be at every level of our being; spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. The inner something we give up is seen as "emptying the container," that is, making the space available within our inner being to allow the new to form. It means giving up a part, if not all of our ego, part of how and what we think and believe and the attachments we have internally and externally. The external "something" is the sacrifice we make in the external world. Something in our external world will have to be given up and changed to reflect the space we create within - that empty container. The sacrifice in the outer world is reflective of the space for our new creation to manifest externally.

Exactly what needs to be sacrificed will depend on our creation and what we are attempting to create. We are infinitely dimensional and our creation may cut across an infinite number of dimensions without our realization of that fact. Our mind cannot and will not know beforehand what needs to be given up. Exactly what must be given up cannot be known by us. The universe will have the final decision in exactly what we need to give up, not us. We cannot second guess Creation and give something up thinking that it is what Creation will require for our new creation.

All Creation is interconnected. Our conscious mind will not know how our intention affects other parts of Creation and how we will have to change internally or externally to address those aspects. In this regard, we will have to do all that is require for our new creation to manifest. The fact that we have to do what is required does not escape the universe and it will hold us accountable for everything that must be sacrificed to manifest the intention that we hold, as we hold it. If we donít want to sacrifice what is being required to be given up, we have no recourse but to change our intention, live in intense pain, or let go. In essence, there will be the need for some type of death or rather, a part of us and our world will need to die to be reformed to what we wish to create or manifest.

The death and transformation is an inherent part of the transformation of any energy. We have to be prepared to have a part of our inner world and external world to die for us to manifest any desire or intention we hold. Here it can be added, the only thing that is prevent this death from occurring is our ego and the only thing that is preventing the transformation from being gentle is our ego.

The rule of thumb for sacrifice is "In a creation process only the correct material can be utilized and they must be sacrificed. If we are unwilling to give up what specifically needs to be sacrificed, we will not manifest the creation that we desire." The only way we can have any idea of what is required is to ask our body wisdom and intuitive guidance such questions as, "what must I give up to create what I desire?" or "What does the actual sacrifice look like, what am I doing or what is happening to allow this sacrifice to be made?" We then of course must listen to the information that is given to us. The deeper our creation, or the more profound our creation will impact the existing world and the deeper we will have to go within ourselves to manifest that creation. We should not be surprised what the images look like that we get from our intuitive guidance and body wisdom. Again, it must be emphasized, whether what needs to be given up will feel like a sacrifice only depends on how strongly we hold onto what must be let go. In any case, all intentions, and all creation will require a sacrifice of the existing created world.

Preparation

To prepare ourselves for what sacrifice will be required for the intention that we wish to manifest, it is recommended that we consult our intuitive guidance and prepare ourselves in the way our intuitive guidance recommends. If we feel our intuitive guidance has nothing to offer we can always start with what we think we will need to give up prepare a little ritual or ceremony to removes those objects, attitudes or beliefs from our life. If however, our intuitive guidance does furnish us information, we will have to follow it literally the best we can trusting that if it is a symbolic image, a new image will appear as we being to act on the information literally.

Facing the sacrifice of creation/Creation

Facing the sacrifice of creation is what about sacrificing, letting go and surrendering of that which needs to be released. The recommended approach is we are willing to all it as such is to face the sacrifice of creation is through freedom and looking to follow the feeling of freedom, fullness of being, and what allows for an expansion within our being.
